Join the St. Peters Ranger youth program at the annual Kite Festival at Woodlands Sports Park. The festival includes professional kite-flying demonstrations and free kites while supplies last. Enjoy the outdoors and the joy of flying a kite you built yourself!

You couldn't have ordered a more perfect day to "go fly a kite"! Sunny skies, fluffy clouds, light breezes, 72 degrees, the smell of hotdogs in the air, while children (and some adults) squealed with
laughter and excitement as their kites sailed into the air. St. Peters Annual Kite Derby, held at Woodland Park, was a high-flying success!

Though many people brought their own kites to fly, most families had their children make a kite to fly. Colors were bright and assorted.
